Back dated, NYE. Up on the roof.
Jan. 2nd, 2005 10:15 pm*Raph makes his way from the bar back to his roof. It's a massive understatement to say that he's distracted. In fact, it's an insult to the meaning of 'understatement', so don't even try it. Here, let's give his mind a listen.
Wow it's almost cute in an After School Special sort of way, Bernard and Tonks that is. I mean, I know I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box, but even I can pick up the fact that they're sweet on each other. They're kinda like April and Casey that way, I guess. I'm glad she liked her Christmas present, she deserves a day off more than anything. And I want her happy more than anything. It's strange, never thought I'd feel this way about anyone or anything And then there was the baby. What the fuck was up with that? I mean, who just lets a baby wander away? It's a baby for cryin' out loud!
It's because of this inner monologue that he doesn't sense the presence of another, or the fact that they are scant millimeters away from snagging a particular time bomb.
