"We like good stories," Grace says, "and he has lots of those."

The triplets have never wanted for anything. Some children might grow spoiled, but they're largely content and thus easy to please. Mostly.

"And he promised ta teach me things," Thom puts in, looking proud.

Jamie doesn't feel it necessary to add anything. He's too busy crawling up and across to where Raph is attempting to disappear beneath his pillow.

"Uncle Raph!" he yells beside the ex-turtle's head. "Why're you hiding?"

Grace continues, undaunted, "Did you hear his story 'bout the fishmonger's wife and her-"

It might behoove Raph to stop the little dear.
