mnt_raph*It took a full day of rest to recover from the pain of the massive drinking binge.
A lot has happened in the last couple of days. He'd seen Death cry over the inablilty to help her brother. He was tossed aside by Fleur, quite literally. Raph is even finding it difficult to maintain his anger with Bernard. Of course, he knows himself well enough to know that this will change should he find himself alone in a room with the man. Most importantly, he's learned that his family is still alive. His mind boggles at the new questions this revelation has spurred. One thing at a time, that's what he keeps trying to tell himself. Sadly, his inner voices are as impatient as he is.
Raph showers and shaves for the first time in the last couple of days. He dresses in his newly cleaned clothes, and makes his way onto the roof. Life has been sloppy as of late. Too much time not focused.
He plants his hands on either side of a corner of the building, and slowly raises himself into a hand stand. Raph's arms shake, and he comes very close to losing his balance. When he's ready, he shifts his body weight to his left arm, and raises his right. He holds the position, enjoying the drumming sound of his heart.*
