Jul. 10th, 2004 01:51 am*Under the table and dreaming*
The dream starts with Rats. Lots of rats. Rats that climb and claw and knot to form the shape of Splinter.
From there it progresses to the notion that Mikey is captured by the Foot and tortured until he reveals the location of Leo and April...and some, as yet unnamed, golden child.
When our intrepid...and surly, hero discovers the treachery, he retaliates. With a large plumber's wrench. When people discover they, it is Raph that is shunned and punished, and not Mike. Splinter removes him from the house and family despite Raph's protests to the contrary. To the truth, that Mike is the one responsible for the death of Leo and April. Now Don is left alone, and the child forgotten.
The scene quickly returns to Raph alone and cold. Covered in rats.
*he sits up gasping for breath, bashing his head on the underside of the table in the process*
