Oct. 6th, 2004 01:03 pm*Raph doesn't specifically remember having headed topside for bed, but that's exactly what must have happened. His day begins like any other. With him slowly emerging from the happy warmth of sleep. The difference is these days not all of that warm feeling melts away as he wakes up. A good portion of it sticks around. He figures it's what the pills feel like, when they're surrounded by cotton for shipping. Something's missing. He knows it's gone. It's like some strange form of amnesia. It's just gotta be some sort of spell damage or magic leakage...or something. Something has taken away his gravity. Something is stripping him of his ability to act.
He reaches out for Penny, but only finds a pillow and sheets where she should be. His first reaction is one of panic. In the excitement of the duel, he'd forgotten all about her. Had he left her stranded at the bar? He attempts to leap from the bed but is thwarted by a tangle of sheets, which causes him to come crashing down on the hardwood floor of the tent. After a few seconds of total confusion, Raph finally pulls himself to his feet, and rummages looking for something to wear, a process that would be much easier if the tent didn't insist on putting his clothing neatly away. He runs a hand through his hair, and makes his way down to the bar.*
