Where the hell are you people? What? Do you expect me to actually do work at work?
Geez, someone do something. Anything. Please?
Or Raph is gonna start banging his head on the bar for no reason.
In my mind's eye, I see the poor little Raphling standing around waiting for me to make him do something. Every now and again, he looks up at me and scowls. There! See? I think he just flipped me off.
Admittedly, most of it's my fault. I don't have much plot for him. Well, I do have some plot, just no idea how to get from A to B. Always seems to be my biggest hangup as a puppeteer: what to do with the puppet. That and timing. I wish that Raph could have taken a larger roll in the Big Bartleby Bash, but sadly, RL got in the way. Real life, and game mechanics. I didn't make any first moves because I was nervous about stepping on anyone toes. That's what I get for being used to tabletop. I totally should have posted an ooc comment: Roll for inititave. Course, only the hard core geeks would have gotten it...but it would have been funny just the same.
So what now? Well, I'm debating whether or not to type up Raph's past. Why he's here, and what's going on in New York while he's gone. Then, I've gotta get him some friends. Seems Liz is leaving us, and that'll make Raph sad. She really did remind him of April. Of course, there is something teh angsty about a loner who's actually alone. Normally people come looking for him, and he grudgingly returns, but not this time. Now he's on his own, for what seems like for good. That's a lot to take in for someone who's always been part of a quartet.
There are somethings I'm going to try and convince Raph to do. Things like: Fight the Whomping Willow. Sleep on the roof more. Maybe take on the giant squid. Some martial arts with Akane. He certainly needs to fly off the handle more often, and he's no where near as snarky as he should be. I'm sure some of that will come up with Liz leaves, but we'll see.
I can't help but smile at the idea of the Whomping Willow being the "mechanical bull" of Milliways.
Oh, and when are we going to have a Pasty Bespeckled Boy Wizard Angst Off? You know you want to be Tim Hunter. You know you want to be Harry Potter.
DO IT!
