It's cold outside, but not as cold as it has been. Just cold enough to momentarily take your breath away, but without all of that messed up nose-freezing stuff that requires undignified twitching to fix.

Raph's flopped himself down into a patio chair, while his wheel chair stands guard on the opposite side of the sliding glass doors.

Sometimes you just need quiet....and a little nicotine.

"Oh, and modest too."

Lilly clasps her hands together and sighs dreamily.

"Be careful, Raph. You keep this up and I just might swoon."

His eyes go wide.

"Not on my watch, sister!"

Maybe it's the cigarettes. Yes, that's it. There must be something funky and otherworldly about these cigarettes.

Lilly cracks up.

"Note to self: ninjas are rendered completely powerless by swoon attack."

Sadly, Lilly does not need funky cigarettes to mess with Raph.

"Wrong brother. I ain't the swoon department."

Raph folds his arms across his chest to the best of his ability.

It's a good try! Lilly is undeterred.

"One of your brothers is a swoon department? Oooh, which one? Is it Leo? I made him fall over once."

A slow smile begins to creep, and then disappears in the way that clearly says, no, I'm not planning anything. At all. Totally innocent..

"Totally Leo. He's like, all into that stuff. What with the noble knight complex an' some crap."

"Ew, really?"

Lilly wrinkles her nose.

"Bummer. I'm so over the white horse thing. I can think of a few girls who aren't. I'll point them his way."

"It ain't fun if it's serious. Then it's just like, sad."

"You got that right," Lilly mutters, taking a long drag of her cigarette and blowing the smoke out a little harder than strictly necessary.

"Anyway. Clamps, ducks, revenge will be yours."

"This come with any sort of a price tag on it? Or is this outta the goodness of your heart."

[awesome_lilly]

"Ouch, Raph. Just... ouch."

Lilly shakes her head sadly.

"Here I thought we were friends and you're suspecting me of some kind of ulterior motive."

And then she flashes him a bright smile.

"But hey, if you insist, you can just owe me a favor."

"Oh come on, even I know there ain't nothin' that comes for free in this world."

He takes a drag of his long forgotten cigarette.

"A'right. Deal."

Raph doesn't even begin to think about what kind of favor Lilly could possibly ask him for, which is probably the best for everyone involved.
