The morning sun peeks through the heavily draped window casting bright beams across the bed. Raph stirs with a grunt, and shifts to avoid the light. Or...rather he attempts to, but there seems to be a blonde woman draped across his bed and entangled in the linens and limiting his movement. Even half asleep he smiles. She stayed. At first he doesn't want to wake her, but then parts of him become very insistent that he do so.
He presses a kiss to her shoulder and tasting the sweat that lingers on her skin. His rough and calloused hands smooth their way down her back and along her side, stopping to rest on the curve of her hip.
She leans into his touch as she rises from the depths of deep sleep, sighing happily at the feeling of his lips on her skin.
"leave me alone you nasty brute, can't you see i'm getting my beauty sleep?" she mumbles feigning annoyance, but her smile gives her away.
"All the more reason you should get up. You're already far too pretty to be seen with the likes of me." She laughs and elbows him playfully.
"We shall have no more of that talk."
"You know it's true! In fact, I think my only hope is to keep....you....from sleeping...ever...again. just so maybe we can break even." Each pause punctuated by a kiss and a slide of his hands.
"mmmm, you do make a good case, sir."
They kiss long, deep, and slow.

Jamie laughs. "No we won't."
"Does that mean Abigail has ta leave too?" Grace's green eyes go wide and sad. "I'll ask Mama. Mama will let you stay, Abigail."
The implication being: Raph is a big meanie.

"OUT! The lot o' you! Go!"
Abigail is only just barely restraining her laughter.
"An' you! Stop eggin' them on!"
Raph scolds her.

"Goddess," Alanna swears. "Grace! Thom! Jamie! What do you think you're doing? I sent you to fetch milk a half hour ago, and I find you here, bothering your uncle and his-"
She trails off, blinking. "Er."
"Her name's Abigail," Grace helpfully supplies. "Can she stay? Can she, Mama?"
"Ah. Hello, Abigail. It's lovely to meet you." Alanna is almost as red as Raph.
"They were doing that thing you do with Da," says Jamie, not about to be outdone by his sister.

"mornin'lanna."
Abigail's eyes go wide.
"You...you're the Lioness."
Without so much as pause she turns and punches Raph in the arm.....hard.
"OW! What're you hittin' me for?"
The indignities just keep piling up...

"Yes, I'm-" Alanna stammers. "Um. I'm... so sorry. Yes, of course you're welcome to stay, Abigail. Happy to have you. My monstrous offspring won't bother you further, I'm sure."
She gives said offspring a firm look.
"At least until later. They'll probably have questions. Not..." If possible, she looks more horrified. "They always have questions. Right. You three with me. Now."
Holding out her hands for the triplets, Alanna devotes most of her attention to the ceiling.
"Bye, Ab'gail," Thom says solemnly.
"See you later," adds Jamie.
Grace smiles prettily and slides to the floor. "Uncle Raph, be nice to Abigail. I like her. She's got pretty hair AND she hit your arm. That's funny." She turns to Abigail. "Bye bye. Later maybe I can show you m'toys. If he tries to steal your air again, you could kick his privates. We saw Cait do that to Rolf once. He cried."
She's still talking as she follows Jamie out the door.
Alanna groans quietly, mumbles something about having to find Adam (or perhaps his cider), and flees.

"You Sir, have quite a lot of explaining to do."
"Trust me, there ain't enough hours in the day."
