Well, it makes sense to me, if that helps any.

Here's where I see it from a story perspective. Raph is wound up way too tight, all the time. Everytime he has a nightmare, or thinks too much, he pulls her close. She's become sort of a safty blanket.

Now that Bernard is back, he's a threat not only to Fleur's emotional state, but to Raph's state of mind as well. Add that together with the promise he made to protect Fleur, and you've got a dangerous combination.

Bernard is going to be angry. Raph will get up in his face, a tactic made famous by short men everywhere. The moment Bernard touches him, even a poke in the chest, Raph is going to let loose.

Right now, he's carrying around a pipe wrench in his duffel bag. It's a lot like what he attacked his brothers with.

In short, someone is going to have to pull Raph off of Bernard.

Hm...I don't know about the wrench. That's the only bit I am iffy about. If Raph took a bit of metal to Bernard's head, she would be extremely hard pressed to forgive him. And I don't know how Bernard-mun would feel about that one. I will have to double check that part before I can say okay.

Nasty fist fight, definitely, though, if nothing else. And Fleur would just blast them apart and angst about who she's supposed to heal first.

Aw, she's a safety blanket. Does he like her at all? I'm being curious now.

In the comic, he only threatens with the wrench, once Michaelangelo is already down, and clearly not a threat. Then Leonardo steps in, Raph goes running off, and he meets Casey Jones. *awwww*
Uh, anyway...

I'm all for a nasty fist fight. Especially one where Raph gets hit in the face cause he can't retract his head into his shell anymore. Heh.

He likes her quite a bit. Doesn't have the foggiest idea what to DO with her, but he does like her.

Raph only plays games he knows he can win, and if he doesn't "know" he will, he cheats so he will. The other three fight with honor, he fights dirty.

Ah, Milliways, you make my comic collection grow to an absurdly geeky amount. I really only know anything from TMNT canon from the cartoons when I was a kid and a pass through that new little cartoon that's airing.

Okay, how about we leave this as Ze Plan for the evening then, and I will email a linkie to Bernard-mun so she give us her thoughts and such. But, unless I hear otherwise, we go with this. Sound good?

*cackles* Fleur's going to drive him crazy tonight. She's all thankful for his friendship and worried about him. Poor dear, she just doesn't get when to stop.

Heh, if you ever get the chance to check out the comics, do so. They're great fun. Or maybe that's just my nostalgia talking. Who knows?

The new cartoon is leaps and bounds closer to the comic than the old cartoon was. I'm very pleased at their Raph. He's even got the deep New York voice I love so much.

That works just fine for me.

Yeah, chances are, Fleur will be the death of Raph. I was trying to find a good place for Raph to plant a kiss on her. Was shooting for a "Am I real" cliche kiss, but then he got shitfaced, and it'd have been way too cheesy then. I'd rather have him sober, so he can't deny it later.

Nothing wrong with the uber!geeky. I work with a much of other geek guys, and when I play at work, they ask me all sorts of questions. Almost have one convinced to join our cult fun, actually. But they always get confused how we play without any sort of randomizer for conflicts. It's great!

Hehehehehe. Dooooooo it. She's being so well behaved and not taking advantage of him! They both deserve a little fun before teh angst hits the fan. Being mean to them helps them be better puppets. It's their wheaties.
