*Hot showers are nice. If Raph had to make a list of the best things on Earth...er...in the Universe, hot showers would be towards the top. He doesn't know how the tent gets its water, and frankly, he doesn't want to know either. He also doesn't know why he habitually turns the water cold at the end of his shower, but he does it anyway.

Shivering from the blast of cold, he gropes in the generally vicinity of where he had left the towel. He can't seem to find it one minute, the next it's in his hand. Wrapping it around his waist he throws back the shower curtain he finally realizes he's not alone...

Mike is seated on the toilet tank, clad in his snowman footie pajamas.

"You know respectable people pay for towel service."

What the hell are you doin' in my bathroom?!

"Handing your sorry ass a towel, and getting no thanks for it, I might add."

[mnt_raph]

*Raph opens his mouth to retaliate, but nothing comes out. Instead he just storms out of the bathroom and into the main living area.*

Mike remains seated.

"Was it something I said?"

[mnt_raph]

*Raph storms back and slams the bathroom door with Mike still inside.*

[mnt_mike]

Muffled from inside the bathroom.

*Raph stops. He sighs. Still dripping and wearing only a towel he walks back to the bathroom door and opens it.*

[mnt_mike]

"What? You didn't think I'd forget, did you?"

[mnt_raph]

'S more that I forgot, really. Come on, get outta there.

[mnt_mike]

He hops to his feet and shuffles across the floor.

"You're kidding right? Wow, you really are distracted here, aren't you?"

[mnt_raph]

'M not distracted. Just busy.

[mnt_mike]

"Which is another way of saying distracted. Hey, it's all right. It isn't like you forgot my birthday. Then we'd have some problems."

Without being told, he sits in one of the kitchenette chairs.

*Raph chuckles*
The way you advertise it, yeah...fat chance o'that happenin'.

[mnt_mike]

Mike looks shocked and appalled.
"I don't know what you're talking about! Everyone counts down the days to their birthday."

[mnt_raph]

Yeah, but everyone don't keep that countdown on bathroom mirrors, the living room, and by the front door. An' most people don't keep it year round.

"That's because most people are lazy, and lack a good work ethic."

[mnt_raph]

Says the guy who spent every waking moment for a month trying to teach a cat to take out the trash.

[mnt_mike]

"HEY, training cats takes a lot of effort, I'll have you know!"

[mnt_raph]

Uh huh. Woulda been easier had you just taken out the trash yourself. You know, if memory serves, I was the one who had to pick up your household slack while all this went on...

*Raph approaches menacingly*

[mnt_mike]

"And if memory serves, you're the one wearing only a towel again."

Mike grins.

[mnt_raph]

*Raph sighs, and mutters as he changes course, heading for his dresser.*

[mnt_mike]

"I win. So, any big plans for the Big B-Day?"

[mnt_raph]

Well, I was hoping for a nice quiet evenin' at home...looks like that's out of the question, don't it?

*He some how manages to pull on a pair of boxers while maintaining full coverage from the towel.*

Obviously amazed.

"Wow, you're getting really good at that!"
